m2reporting – detailed statistics about software usage and distribution
m2reporting is a module for software by mquadr.at that collects detailed data about software distribution and usage, displays it graphically and as raw numbers on a secure web platform, and builds the perfect basis for well-founded marketing decisions.
m2reporting collects all relevant consumer data regarding software usage and distribution. Clear graphs and charts for selected topics and timeframes visualise the available data for quick analysis at a glance. Combined with any of our Internet software solutions the integrated reporting systems send all reports to dedicated servers, where the data is collected. Accessible on a secure, modular and easily managed web platform, m2reporting allows ISPs to measure the success of deployed software solutions.

Comprehensive data on software usage, systems, and distribution
m2reporting provides comprehensive statistics on consumer systems, software usage and user behaviour. The following information based on date and unique IDs for each system is made available through a secure web interface:
- System information (operating system, service packs, language setting, browser, e-mail clients, firewall, anti-virus software)
- Data about modems and other devices in use (manufacturer, type, drivers)
- Software usage (total and active users, installations, executions, uninstalls, selected options, exit points, etc.)
- Traffic (up- and download volume, up- and download speed, SIM, APN, SMS sent and received, etc.)
- Repair and diagnosis data (number of errors, diagnoses, repairs, repair attempts, all differentiated by unique error codes and machine-IDs), information on each error code (knowledge database)
- Software versions, number of updates, etc.
Moreover any ISP-specified data (certain points of interest, differences based on delivery medium (download/CD/etc.), custom statistics, etc.) can be reported and analysed on custom pages.
Secure web interface and interactive display
All data is displayed on a secure web portal in dedicated, ISP-specific interfaces. Data access can be managed easily by the ISPs themselves with the integrated user management system accessible through a secure and password protected interface. It allows the change of permissions for each reporting module separately.
The information is presented according to requirements: in tables, pie charts, line graphs, or lists. Additionally, data can be displayed by means of interactive charts. The tables can be filtered by day, week, month, quarter, year, or any ISP defined parameter and exported as a PDF or Microsoft® Excel document for further use.
Reports are collected every day – this way the statistics of m2reporting are always up to date.
Scalable and secure server infrastructure
All data within m2reporting and the respective databases are hosted by mquadr.at on a dedicated server infrastructure. Data access is guaranteed at any time. The infrastructure is scalable to fit any ISP – servers and databases can be hosted for each ISP separately.
The servers are located in a hosting centre that meets the latest security standards. A back-up Internet connection ensures maximum reliability and the highest transfer speed possible. With m2reporting, ISPs have permanent and secure access to their statistical data – worldwide and at any time.

Statistics include information related to Internet access and user systems (combined with » the Internet setup software m2webalizer), as well as diagnosis and repair information (in combination with » the intelligent diagnosis and auto repair software m2selfrepair). In combination with » m2connectionmanager, uplink and downlink traffic split by APN/network/SIM is displayed. With the inclusion of » the update software m2liveupdate, detailed information about the update behaviour of consumers and the distribution of different software versions is also made available.
